“A concise mix of strong lines, bold hues and a whole lot of mood changing coats to fight off those winter blues.”
Spook Magazine 15th April 2015.
Our shoot got published at Spook Magazine earlier last and I’d love to share some of what we created.
The Dream Team:
Photographer- Natasha Foster, Stylist & Set Designer- Jillian Boustred, Model- Emily from The Agency, Hair Stylist- Josh Anderson from Toni & Guy Parramatta, Make Up & Nail Design- yours truely
Natasha and Jillian built the set:

From this initial sketch design…

To this…
We decided on a clean aesthetic for the make up and hair to work with the geometric lines of the set design and clothes sourced.
I got creative with the nail design. Thank you Emily for not smudging!

I did these badboys freehand!
And my make-up brief was creamy skin, strong highlight & strong brow.
Until we got to later on when blue eyeliner was applied to the lower lashline and a metallic tint added to the lips. I increased the shading on the eyes too to balance out the graphic liner.
Josh’s work on hair was phenomenal. Take a minute to appreciate!

Can never have too much spray!
Which is your favourite shot? Are you feeling winter ready? Let me know if you have any questions about the make up design or products used. I’m only too happy to share.
