AMY

Sydney trained makeup artist, impressive ability to always produce flawless work, can wing a liner like nobody’s business, a ray of sunshine and smiles.

What do you love most about being a makeup artist?
Being able to enhance a person’s natural beauty whilst not taking away who they really are. Receiving hugs and nice emails is also a big plus!

What is your key piece of makeup advice for a bride getting married?
Avoid the sun and only apply skincare treatments that have tried and tested before – you don’t want any nasty allergies leading up to the big day.

Favourite makeup product you can’t live without?
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Wardrobe. I love this product! I use it for myself on a daily basis and all clients for applications. There are 3 shades within the palette, which allows for all highlighting and bronzing/blush needs. The finish gives the skin a beautiful soft glow, without making you look like a disco ball and the powders can also be used as eyeshadows. My holy grail of setting & highlighting powders.

ALEX

none

Editorial and commercial makeup artist with a love for bridal makeup, artistry defined by precision and versatility, great energy and a great laugh.

What do you love most about being a makeup artist?
The ability to change someone’s perception of themselves, seeing how happy a client is after making them up is so rewarding and inspiring for me. It’s also a really exciting and engaging industry to be a part of.

What is your key piece of makeup advice for a bride getting married?
As a makeup artist, it is my job to ensure the bride’s natural features are defined and the makeup is used to emphasise and complement, so that the eye is drawn to these features, rather than the makeup itself. My key piece of advice for a bride is to have clean, simple and elegant makeup. Remember, in years to come when you’re looking back on old photos, you’ll want to have that timeless look.

Favourite makeup product you can’t live without?
If I had to chose one product I couldn’t live without it would be concealer… My favourite would be Ellis Faas. It looks like your own skin, but better!

KIM

Superb artistry with a skill set as diverse as the styles of makeup Kim can produce.  An expert in skincare and wellness, Kim’s signature is beautiful skin and creating looks that work for the person in her chair.

What do you love most about being a makeup artist?
Building a connection with each client of mine. It is incredibly fulfilling knowing that clients feel beautiful and trust that I am making them look and feel amazing. It doesn’t feel like work for me!

What is your key piece of makeup advice for a bride getting married?
The lead up to the wedding day is vital to perfect makeup on the day. Drink as much water as you can, look after your skin, follow a good regimen and your wellness will radiate throughout the entire day.

Favourite makeup product you can’t live without?
Any kind of blush! It is such a staple in my makeup applications as I feel it brings life and light back to the skin. Some can give you a lit-from-within glow, some can give you a rosy flush of colour. A favourite of mine includes Luster by Nars.

ANGIE

none

Sydney & LA trained with a huge knowledge of products and skincare, modern makeup is her signature style and also works across Film/TV. Energetic, calm and fun with almost a decade of experience.

What do you love most about being a makeup artist?
Everything! From the early morning starts to washing my brushes, to the best of all, meeting new people and creating something beautiful. There is so much beauty, passion and talent in every single person; it’s amazing what a little eyeliner & mascara can do.

What is your key piece of makeup advice for a bride getting married?
Be you and be comfortable! Your wedding will be a day you will remember for the rest of your life so make sure you look and feel your absolute best so you can enjoy every second with those you care about most (it will go by faster than you think!).

Favourite makeup product you can’t live without?
Most definitely a tinted moisturiser with a high SPF! As I like time efficient makeup for myself; I’m always after something that is illuminating, lightweight in texture yet build-able in coverage. I have two favourites which are the NARS Pure Radiance Tinted Moisturiser and the IT Cosmetics CC Cream. Both take about 2 minutes to apply (with a brush or fingers) and stay in place all day long!

CHARLOTTE

none

Clean, sophisticated beauty is her signature style.  Lovely nature means she easily connects with different types of people and is an emerging talent in the fashion editorial world also.

What do you love most about being a makeup artist?
In my previous career in advertising, my world was filled with spreadsheets and emails. Working with makeup allows me to use my hands and create something meaningful not only to my client, but also myself.

What is your key piece of makeup advice for a bride getting married?
A focus on skin prep during the lead up to the big day makes a world of difference. Indulge in a facial and a few sheet masks.

Favourite makeup product you can’t live without?
RMS Living Luminizer.  I love the sheer glow it gives to the skin and the golden hue as a highlight colour, to bring out warmth in the skin.

o

ADRIANA

none

Whether it’s special effects for film or a red lip for a night out, Adriana’s versatility and skill is always delivered in a calm and fun manner.

What do you love most about being a makeup artist?
Connecting to a person and understanding how to highlight their individual beauty and make them feel like the most beautiful version of themselves. I also really enjoy pampering someone and using makeup to build confidence and relaxation.

What is your key piece of makeup advice for a bride getting married?
Keep it simple and remember this day is for you! Choose a look that makes you feel both amazing and comfortable in your own skin and on the day just relax and enjoy the experience.

Favourite makeup product you can’t live without?
By Terry CC Lumi Serum in Sunny Flash. It’s an illuminating bronzing liquid that makes the skin look radiant and glowing, gives the most beautiful finishing texture both up close and behind a camera and is a natural bronze that suits all skin tones – and it smells divine!
